Graphic Design Chair 🎨
Create flyers and graphics for PTSA events, programs, and newsletters—all on a flexible schedule.Co-Chair of Reflections ✨
Help promote the Reflections art competition and coordinate student entries following the process established by WSPTA.Enrichment Chair
Work with our Enrichment VP to coordinate schedules, manage spaces, and support the logistics of enrichment programs.Community Events Chair 🎉
Partner with our Community Engagement VP to plan, organize, and lead one community event of your choice. We’re currently looking for chairs for the Glow Dance Night, STEAM Fair, and End-of-Year Carnival.Emergency Preparedness (E-Prep) Chair 🚨
Help keep our emergency supplies and bags organized, stocked, and replenished throughout the year.Staff Appreciation Chair
Do you love showing gratitude? Join us in celebrating our wonderful teachers and staff! The chair leads members of Staff Appreciation committee to plan Staff Appreciation Week (May 3rd–7th, 2026).

ART DOCENT CLASSROOM VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Ella Baker has a kiln and a related art program. Each classroom gets to create a project from clay, and we need volunteers (whom we call Art Docents) to assist the students with these projects. Art docents are also responsible for assisting the teachers with Deep Space Sparkle (DSS) art projects, as well as prepping and cleaning up after projects.
No art experience needed—attend a short 1–2 hour training, then help with two clay sessions (about 90 minutes each) and 6 DSS projects. Scheduling is flexible, and it’s a fun way to connect with students!

STEAM DOCENT CLASSROOM VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Ella Baker PTSA is bringing hands-on STEAM projects to Grades 1–3—like programming little robots and more! We need volunteers to help guide students during these activities.
No experience needed—all lessons and training will be provided this fall.
